Lia Ramses is a writer, researcher and mother of three children with a passion for earth mysteries, ancient history and culture. When her eldest child was diagnosed with autism at an early age Lia set out to learn all she could about this label given to her child and today is one among the many un-sung mothers who have become authorities on autism through diligent research and desire to help her son. Her bold pursuit of knowledge in the name of love to help her son has molded a determined, outspoken individual which has carried over into her efforts of humanitarianism and protection of the fragile earth on which we live.
Lia is fluent in computer and has special passion for historical enigmas, anomalies and ghosts and hauntings.
Currently, Lia is studying filmmaking and photography and is a partner with her husband, John Ramses, with their hobby-business, Anomalous Films: Filming the Acane. Lia's passion is field research and conducting interviews with fascinating australian authors and researchers of paranormal subjects.
Lia also operates and hosts the Haunted Australia web site and is acting as executive producer and researcher for the DVD series Ghosts of Western Australia - volume 1.
Lia was born January 13, 1971 in Perth, Western Australia and has spent many years in the outback of the Northern Territory learning the moods of her land and the teachings of the aboriginal cultures. Lia's autistic son is now 14 years old and has recently graduated to high school - a testimony of her love, passion and determination in the face of the 'professionals' who insisted her son would never speak.
Lia Ramses' interviews can be heard on Ghost Radio, accessible from this web site or visiting www.ghostradiox.com, selecting 'Interview Broadcasts', then 'Haunted Australia'.
