Empathy allows us to feel the emotions of others, to identify and understand their feelings and motives and see things from their perspective. How we generate empathy remains a subject of intense debate in cognitive science.
This Week on Underworld: Mike Andrews - Mike may live in Australia's most haunted house. Hear this intrguing story of how an agnostic university graduate and professional suicide prevention councellor came to believe in the supernatural and how his life and family have been dramatically affected by the sudden appearance of an active spirit in his life. The spirit is that of a young 19 year girl who committed suicide in her family home in Perth, Western Australia. The identity of the girl will, for the time being, be kept confidential so as not to cause undue grief upon her surviving family members. We shall call her 'Cathy'. How she came to haunt the life of the Andrews family is a story woven with fibres of true synchronicity at nearly every turn and new development. It appears to the observer that, because the sychronicity events seem to lead farther and farther back into the history of early Australian settlers, Cathy may be attempting to demonstrate a blood connection between herself and family line and the line of the Andrews. Since the Appearance of 'Cathy' into the Andrews' life many orbs, light streaks, faces and anomalies have been both accidentally and purposely captured in photos and videos.
