Gypsy the TV Cat

I have a cat who is at home alone during the day. I leave in the morning for work with my children and turn the television off, when we come home at night the tv is on? I have turned the tv off at the wall and still come home to find it switched on.  This has happened on quiet a few ocassions.  I strangely enough spoke to my cat (no i'm not that weird) in the hopes she would stop.
Tthe following night I arrived home to find my pc on?  My cat actually talks to me and when asked a question she knows exactly when to make a noise? yes she is freaky, but I love her just the same.  Her name is Gypsy and she is almost black!
