Firstly, I have seen a number of what you describe as orbs.  My previous partner and I used to call them bubbles and during the period of leaving the haunted house where my partner had a heart attack, these things followed us around everywhere and to a number of rentals before we could get rid of them.

They are perhaps the same or related to the electric balls which sat on the tops of our heads.  This was when we were getting static noises, which we would only notice if someone pointed out the ball on top of our heads.
Also, when my son was in my womb, we were calling him Milly, as he was only millimeters long.  He was very cross about this and gave me a good telling off, letting me know that he was a boy.  He sure is.  I know that my son is psychic as well.  I don't know how I know, I just do.  He had an imaginary friend who was a fox called Kurt.  For some reason it really creeped me out and just didn't feel right, so I banished this thing from the house.  My son who was aged 3 at the time, balled his little eyes out and said that it was his friend and he loved him.  Uggh !
Before my daughter was born I was thinking of the name Alexandra.  Some spirit, I don't know who, came and yelled at me right in my face very angrily that I was not to call her that.  I didn't.

When my daughter Louise was born, I was lying in hospital and very distinctly felt someone tug my big toe.  I thought it was a nurse coming in on her rounds to check on me.  There was no one there, but when I opened my eyes again, my paternal grandmother was there to say hello to my baby.  She smiled and I closed my eyes.  When I opened them again my paternal grandfather was there, along with my maternal grandparents and my godfather, who have all passed.  I closed my eyes again and thought to myself, that if they were all there, then my Uncle Bill should be around too.  He was.  He was standing over near the bathroom and winked at me, just like he always used to.  It was a very nice experience and I am glad that they all came to say hello.
