I am posting this special picture of my much-loved black Labrador 'Mac' who was killed by a car on a busy road in Highett, Melbourne, Australia when I was around 10 years old.

You will notice that there is still a lead on him, one that escaped my grasp that fateful day near a busy highway. I often felt guilty about him escaping my grasp and I am sure he came back just to reassure me that I didn't completely 'obliterate' him!!

The picture was taken by a digital camera into a TV set turned off, reflecting back onto a small sofa in my study.

I send this to give you all real and positive reassurance that our pets do continue to live beyond their physical existence.
