It was a house i lived in with my parents and two sisters at the time. (I now have three sisters).
It was around 1984/85 so i was only around 4 or 5 at the time, but i have spoken to my parents and one sister and they confirmed a lot of things that happened.
We found out after living there awhile that the lady who owned the house died in the house from cancer. I would often wake up saying I heard nosies in the roof like rattleing chains and stuff, one night I thought I saw the lady out side my bed room window but as i've said I was only 4 or 5.
My younger sister shared a room with my older sister, and she would wake up on a regular basis saying there was a lady in her room. Apparently this old lady liked to bake, the timer on the oven never used to work but nearly every night you could hear it ticking away.
My mum brought my two sisters and I down to melbourne to see our nan one time and my dad stayed behind to work. He said he went out one night and left one light on, but when returned in the morning every light was on in the house.
All the normal things happened, we would come home and photos would be moved around and in different rooms and toys would be moved around as well. My mum has said she would have this really uneasy feeling every time she went near the pantry and laundry, she would also have an uneasy feeling when she walked down the hallway past all the rooms, I also have a memory of this I used to hate playing in the back yard and don't even mention the laundry.
My older sister and I have a feeling that we found an empty cake tin on the kitchen table one morning but we can't be sure, and my mum said she can't remember, 'there are just some things you want to forget about'.
The house is in sea/lake about a 40 minute drive from swan hill victoria.
